Creating A Study with Beacon Sensor Enabled
This document acts as an official guide on how to use beacons in your study.
We assume that:
You are aware of the different Beacon parameters, and how to configure them. If not, refer to
this document
.
You are using a supported Beacon, or have run your own measurements. If not, refer to
this document
.
Create a Study
Go to the "Sensors" section of your study and then click on "Add a new sensor" as shown below:

From the list of sensors choose "Beacon proximity"

Set up your desired interval ("Record Beacon proximity..."), Alpha, and Forgetting Threshold and click Done

Once the sensor is added, the page will contain the sensor info as follows:

Note down the following:
UUID
Major
Go to your survey, create a question, and attach the Beacon rule that fits your needs:

If you're unsure about the "Definition of NEAR" or "Minor" parameters, refer back to

Once created and published, the rule will be displayed as follows on the question:
